"This little knife is a tank. It fits securely in your hand and has a sturdy feel to it. This is definitely a knife that's made to be used. Our can opener broke recently and this has become its temporary replacement. Just a quick touch up on the edge and it's good to go again after opening multiple cans. This is a sweet little go-to knife if you don't know what you'll need it for but want to be sure you're ready."

"This is a good quality knife for the money. The automatic blade snaps out fast and secure like a automatic knife should. Safety is nice and tight so it will not move to the unlock position while in your pocket or bag. I really like these Boker knives that I will be buying my 3rd one soon. "

4. Spyderco Tenacious

The Spyderco Tenacious is a great way to start your Spydie collection without breaking the bank. It’s a solid mid-sized knife with a beefy blade and grippy G-10 handles. Tucked inside the handle scales are skeletonized steel liners increasing the handle’s rigidity and strength without adding unnecessary weight or bulk. The 8Cr13Mov stainless blade is leaf-shaped and ground flat from spine to cutting edge for precision cutting performance. The blade’s shape coupled with the iconic “Spydie hole” and textured spine jimping allow you to open the blade and position your thumb on the spine in slip-proof confidence ready for work. "This was the first Spyderco I ever bought and it is what got me addicted. I still maintain that the majority of Spyderco knives are ugly but boy do they work! This knife handles whatever I throw at it and is really easy to sharpen. I carried this exclusively for almost 2 months and love the size, weight and cutting power it provides."

Adam H. says...

Solid design and feel with great lock up. Comfortable to hold and use for a variety of tasks. I really like the wider stubby pocket clip because it's easier to access the knife when you need it, unlike a deep carry knife. And I can only assume that the reviewers who are saying it is impossible to open one handed have small and weak hands because I've had no problem opening it with my meat hook.

"I got what I was looking for with my blue Elementum. The scales are tough and strong and an attractive medium blue. The blade is a shiny stainless steel, sharp out of the box. Lightweight, no extra stuff that would add weight to it. It flips open easily without fail, one hand. I have owned the knife for a little while now, and I have broken it in. I put a small amount of oil on the pivot, and it snaps open with ease. This is an excellent buy for 50 bucks. I would definitely recommend it."

"This is a great lightweight knife for lightweight tasks. The flipping action is fast and easy to open. I wouldn't go chopping any wood with this but for cutting down cardboard, opening letters, even food prep, this works great."
